Cross-Cutting Objectives

What is a cross-cutting objective?

These are objectives that span across the entire activity of an organization. For example, in an educational center, even though subjects like Mathematics or Language Arts have specific competency goals, there are general objectives common to everything, such as respect for others or equality.

Similarly, while the main objective of the Asociación Girasol is to improve the quality of life for people with cancer and in palliative care, as well as their families, our cross-cutting objectives—developed seamlessly and without detracting from our core mission—are:

- Substantive gender equality (Equality Plan) 

- Environmental protection and care, and sustainability
